Help May Be Closer Than You Think

If parenting is something you’ve thought about, even briefly, it can help to learn what support might be available before deciding it’s out of reach. Every woman’s circumstances are different, and so are the resources available to her.

Many women are surprised to learn how many organizations and programs exist specifically to support pregnancy and early parenting.

Depending on your circumstances, you may qualify for healthcare coverage, nutrition assistance, baby supplies, or other forms of support. Local churches, nonprofits, and community organizations also provide resources that many families don’t discover until they begin asking questions.

Our team can connect you with material resources available through our center and provide referrals to additional community resources that fit your situation. We won’t push you toward a particular decision. You can get your questions answered and will find a supportive group of people ready to help you.

Adoption Is Another Option to Learn About

Many people have questions about adoption but aren’t quite sure where to begin.

Adoption has changed significantly over the years. Modern adoption gives birth mothers choices throughout the process, including selecting an adoptive family and deciding how much future contact they’d like to have. Adoption services are provided at no cost to the birth mother, and pregnancy-related expenses are often covered.

Learning how adoption works can help you decide whether it’s something you’d like to consider. This option doesn’t mean you’re “giving up” your baby. You can still play an active role in their life while also pursuing your future goals.

You Don’t Have to Figure This Out Alone

An unexpected pregnancy can feel overwhelming, especially when money is already stretched thin.

If you’d like to learn more about your options, available material support, or community referrals, Pathways Pregnancy Resource Center is here to help. Schedule your free, confidential appointment today.
